Completion of the apprenticeship
Chris has passed his final exam! 🎉
"Hi, I am Franzi, 18 years old and am doing my apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk at HBS. I currently work alternately in the sales and purchasing departments.
My working day starts at 8 a.m., the first thing I do is process incoming mail, open letters and distribute them to the responsible contact persons, then I process the mails in our general e-mail inbox. I enter orders and inquiries from customers into our system, send order confirmations and quotations, and I can contact my colleagues at any time if I have any questions about articles. My lunch break starts at 12:00, which I spend with my trainee colleague Jenny and other employees in our lounge. In the afternoon I talk to customers on the phone, clarify any ambiguities regarding your orders or help you with questions about our products. In purchasing I check the order confirmations of our suppliers, check the prices and enter the delivery dates into our system. In the case of overdue deliveries, I send a reminder for the delivery and telephone suppliers to inquire when the goods will be shipped."
On Wednesday evening, we were able to help the students in Odelzhausen with their career orientation. 🤗
Isabella has been getting a taste of HBS air for a total of 10 weeks since September as part of her internship block at FOS. You can now read more about her time with us here.
