Thomas Lüttgens Strength­ens the Man­age­ment Team at HBS Weld­ing Systems

Dachau, 6 August 2026 – Effective 1 June 2026, Thomas Lüttgens joined HBS Welding Systems GmbH as Managing Director. In this position, he will drive the company's strategic development, strengthen its international market position, and support the next phase of growth.

Thomas Lüttgens brings more than 20 years’ extensive international leadership experience in technology-driven industrial companies. Throughout his career, he has held senior management positions at the Hartmann Group, SCHOTT AG, and Krause Biagosch, where he was responsible for Engineering, Operations, Technology Development, and Corporate Development, among other functions.

In his new role Thomas Lüttgens will help expand HBS Welding Systems' product and technology portfolio, strengthen the company's international sales organization, and further develop its customer-focused approach. He will also work closely with the team to improve development and business processes, accelerate innovation, reduce time-to-market, and strengthen HBS' position in international markets.
